"I carried a root of a Cacti back from Spain and gave it to my mother to plant. It grew and keeps growing! And everytime I see it when I'm home, I can almost feel the sun on my skin. It looks alien out of its native place and yet there's a warm familiarity to its presence"

These works are based on Nostalgia and the feelings that are evoked by memories of place - nature, travel, and experiences. I try to capture moments, keeping them alive through the brushstrokes on canvas.
